The Birth Track includes 17 comprehensive modules, covering everything from Professional Identity, Scope, and Ethical Practice to Labor Physiology & Support, Perinatal Mental Health & Crisis Response, Continuity of Care Protocol, and C-Section Prep and Recovery. The Postpartum Track shares the same core foundational modules, then moves into Postpartum Recovery and Newborn Care, Return to Work and Life Transitions, and more. Every module ends with tests and scenarios to check your knowledge along the way, so you're not just reading information, you're actively demonstrating you can use it in real situations before you move forward.

No. We will educate you from the ground up. You'll be tested and evaluated along the way to confirm your knowledge is building the way it should, so by the time you finish, you're genuinely ready.

30 hours of training total. Birth and Postpartum tracks run as 3-day intensives. Full Spectrum runs over a 6-week format to cover the full range of birth and postpartum content.

Completing the modules is the first step. To earn your ABCD certification, you'll also need to submit real client documentation, SOAP notes for at least 3 clients you've supported across different stages of their journey. This documentation should have no identifying information, but should clearly show us how you supported the family and what your care actually looked like in practice.

Once you're ready to submit, you'll be provided with a secure upload form to send in your documentation. Our credential team reviews everything and provides a decision within 4 weeks. If any revisions are needed, we'll tell you exactly what to adjust and how to resubmit, so you always know what we're looking for.

No. Certification review is fully included in your $650 or $1,100 tuition. There is no separate fee to have your documentation reviewed.
